ABOUT
La Mite is an experimental short film, based on "The Gentle Spirit" by Dostoevsky.
DESCRIPTION
La Mite is a feature-photo roman that tries to use photography as a cinematographic material, additionally by using a combination of photography and fixed videos intends to maintain the narrative concentration on the sonorous part of the story, so the expressive potentiality of the fixed images in La Mite makes the visual part of the narration passive enough to keep the whole dramatic weight on voice overs, sound effects and cinematographic soundscape. In the meantime there are moments that do not proceed according to the spectators expectations, as nothing, no rule can restrict the narrative current of a film. One can follow a rule till a certain moment and then easily swap to something else.
